Words ain't free, like you and me...

Journal Entry: Wed Dec 16, 2009, 10:37 PM

Chained together from the dawn to dusk,
Can't call it leavin', cause it's just...

Year 12 is over. I'm FREE. Do you hear me?! FREE.

So, the last few months of my life have been pretty hectic and overwhelming. Most of my exams were crammed together. I had my Literature and Psych exam on the same day, which personally scared the shit out of me. I walked out of the Lit exam thinking I written the absolute biggest load of crap exam on Hamlet that wasn't even vaguely coherant... and guess what. Apparently I owned it. I ended up with a 42 study score in Lit, and 95.55 as my ENTER ... and even better, that means I am now eligible for the Dean's Scholars Program at Monash University. The consider any applicant with an ENTER of 95+ and English over 40. I didn't imagine I'd have either.

Besides school, my art, writing and other personal hobbies have fallen by the wayside for several months. I intend on photographing/scanning/uploading etc some of my year 12 Studio Arts work. I wasn't particularly proud or fond of some of my stuff in the end... I always enjoy the folio more than the finished pieces.

I wish everyone the best of luck in the near future with Uni offers and whatever they wish to do. :)

Enjoy.
Until next time.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

I knew I belonged to the public and to the world, not because I was talented or even beautiful, but because I had never belonged to anything or anyone else.
